8: Rent Out Your Driveway, Parking Space Or Garage
This may sound crazy but believe me, if you live near a train station, airport, a big city, a sports stadium or anywhere else where parking is at a premium, you could make some easy extra cash by renting your driveway or parking space and even your garage.
What you do is put ads in local newsagents or local papers advertising your parking space. If you’ve got a garage and you live in a big city, you might be able to rent it out through a property letting agent.
How much can you earn?
Well it depends. What you do is find out what the daily parking charge at the airport or train station etc and offer a very competitive rate.
If the parking is $10 a day then offer $5 per day.
It is better if you own the property…otherwise check with the terms and conditions of what you are supposed to do or not supposed to do if you are in a rented property.
